PVHO Acrylic Window Inspection
WavesinSolids inspectors are certified and competent in pressure vessel for human occupancy (PVHO) acrylic window inspections.  WINS personnel receive training on the use of all hand-held measuring and comparator devices.  Inspectors are trained to the following standards.

  • ASME PVHO-1 section 2
  • ASME PVHO-2

WINS can perform all inspections of your PVHO windows including maintenance inspections, operational inspections, seat and seal inspections, and service-life extension inspections.  These thorough inspections can identify areas of cracking, crazing, chipping and UV damage.

Once a problem is identified, WINS works with window operators and manufacturers to identify the source of the problem, suggest corrective action, and develop repair solutions. WINS can perform field maintenance and repair such as cleaning to restore optical clarity and hand polishing to remove superficial scratches.

Our American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) certified inspectors have complementary training in fall protection, rope access (SPRAT), highway safety, and confined space safety.  We have a proven record of high quality inspection services and safety.
